We offer two types of services:
1) client services for Transgender, Intersex, and/or Gender Variant (TIGV) immigrants and
2) advocate and organizational services.
For TIGV Immigrant clients, our services are 100% free, 100% of the time.

*We recognize the term TIGV is not exhaustive of every Trans/Gender Non-Conforming identity and experience and encourage people to use this definition as a guide. You do not have to be "out" or living life publicly as a TIGV person to qualify for our services.
**Note: If you do not identify as a TIGV immigrant, we will try and connect you to relevant resources to the best of our ability.
Our Peer Navigators and Advocates Program assists TIGV immigrants in the US with identifying key service providers and support available in their area for housing, legal, medical, and other social services.
The Scholarship, Fellowship, and College Advising Progams connects clients with advisors who are experienced in applying, receiving, and managing scholarship, fellowship, and college admissions opportunities. This program is available to anyone seeking to enter higher education.

Our Expert Witness Training Program trains individuals who have country-context, medical, psycho-social, and/or topical expertise on how to utilize their expertise for TIGV immigration advocacy and before legal bodies.
We know that we cannot do our work alone. We offer consulting services for organizations ranging from developing inclusive communications strategies, operations, grant writing, and outreach to developing new programs and services to best meet communities' needs.
Our Organization Training Program identifies best-practices for supporting TIGV, immigrant, or TIGV immigrant communities and coaches organizations on how best to support clients from intake all the way through to enrollment completion.
Our Language Bridges Program aims to recruit volunteers interested in utilizing their language skills to assist with Sanctuarium's work and outreach.
Our Volunteer and Internship Program is available for individuals who are looking to contribute to Sanctuarium's work by gaining hands-on experience in the nonprofit world. Given our mission, we have a keen interest in recruiting individuals with lived experience related to our work.
Our Founder, Hera Jay Brown, has extensive experience with events and public speaking related to her role as a Transgender trailblazer, work, research, and life.
100% of speaker fees are donated to Sanctuarium's work.
In 2023, Sanctuarium launched our inaugural workshop series in Los Angeles and Chicago alongside researchers, immigrant and Indigenous leaders, and nonprofit executives.
