Volunteer and Internship Program (VIP)

Our Volunteer and Internship Program is available for individuals who are looking to contribute to Sanctuarium's work by gaining hands-on experience in the nonprofit world. 

Volunteers are individuals seeking to contribute in a limited capacity (<8 hours per month). Tasks are assigned based on an individuals interests and background.

Internships are designed for individuals who wish to gain more substantial experience working with Sanctuarium. It is also possible for Sanctuarium to sponsor interns for course/college credit. We offer three tracks:

• Research and Policy Analysis
• Communications and Strategy
• Grant Writing and Fundraising

Given our mission, we have a keen interest in recruiting individuals with lived experience related to our work. At this time, volunteers and interns are unpaid, though we aim to have these roles funded in the near future.
