In 2019, Hera Jay Brown made history as the first Trans woman elected to the Rhodes Scholarship. To date, she is also the only Trans person to hold both the Fulbright and Rhodes. 

Since completing her studies, Hera Jay has gone on to found Sanctuarium and continues to lead at the intersections of community advocacy, immigration, and Trans liberation. 

She has extensive experience with events and public speaking related to her work, research, and life. 

100% of speaker fees are donated to Sanctuarium's work.
