In 2023, Board Members Hera Jay Brown, Jenn Ostrowski, and Dr. Tricia Hepner received the US Department of State's Citizen Diplomacy Action Fund Award. 

Partnering with Sanctuarium, immigration and Indigenous leaders. researchers, and non-profit executives in Chicago and Los Angeles, the team delivered two workshops to assess emerging challenges and changing landscapes in immigration policy and service provision.
